Finizio Co-Founder & Partner Rob Finizio is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of MintPharma Capital, leveraging over 30 years of experience building significant shareholder returns in both public and private pharmaceutical and medical device companies. Rob co-founded CareFusion, the market leader in medication patient safety, in 2001, which he sold to Cardinal Health (CAH) in 2006. After CareFusion, Rob co-founded TherapeuticsMD (TXMD) in 2008. As CEO and Vice Chairman, Rob developed TXMD from a start-up to the market leader in women's health pharmaceutical development. TXMD is the first and only women's health pharmaceutical company to have three new drugs approved in a single year (2018). In 2013, Rob took TXMD public on the New York Stock Exchange and achieved a market capitalization of well over a billion dollars. During his tenure at TXMD, Rob raised more than $1 billion through public equity and debt. Rob currently serves as Executive Director of PleoPharma, Executive Vice Chairman of ICaPath, and on the boards of Vycellix, NOXX Therapeutics and Myosin Therapeutics. PleoPharma is an innovative pharmaceutical company endeavoring to develop the first FDA-approved drug to treat Cannabis Withdrawal, as well as other addiction therapies where no FDA-approved treatments exist. ICaPath is pioneering breakthrough therapies designed to revolutionize cancer treatment through its proprietary nanoparticle immunotherapy delivery platform. Myosin Therapeutics, a spin-out from Scripps Research in Jupiter, FL, is leveraging a pioneering approach to treating cancer by targeting non-muscle Myosin nanomotors to inhibit the movement and growth of cancer cells. Rob is involved with two non-profits as Chairman of BioFlorida and a Board Member for the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office Foundation. Rob graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and taught English in Osaka, Japan after graduation. ![David Adams, Co-Founder & Partner at MintPharma Capital](/assets/team-adams-CC_KlflO.png) ## David Adams Co-Founder & Partner Dave Adams has more than 30 years of experience in investment management. Currently, he serves as the managing partner of Mint12, a specialized alternative investment management company. Under his guidance, Mint12 oversees the management of two real estate lending funds and two real estate equity funds. Before establishing Mint12, Dave held the position of Managing Partner and Founder at Fluid Capital Management (FCM), a company he established in 2010. At FCM, he successfully managed various alternative investment portfolios. Before his tenure at FCM, Dave worked as an interest rate derivatives trader at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) from 1991 to 2010. During these 20 years, he efficiently managed substantial proprietary and investor capital. Dave initiated his career in 1987 at Deloitte Haskins & Sells. He graduated Cum Laude from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Dave serves on the boards of Vycellix, NOXX Therapeutics, Astrocyte, ICaPath, Vinci Pharmaceuticals, NanoRap, and Myosin Therapeutics. Dave resides with his wife and four children in Boca Raton, FL. He actively supports the sport of lacrosse and its community. With extensive expertise in biotechnology and intellectual property law, Marlan brings a proven track record in product development from pre-clinical stages through commercialization. He holds advanced degrees in law and molecular biology, uniquely positioning him to bridge scientific and regulatory domains with executive leadership. Throughout his career, Marlan has supported capital raises exceeding $1 billion and has played pivotal roles in mergers and acquisitions. He also advises investors and emerging life sciences companies, using his deep industry knowledge to help make reasoned investment decisions and effectively grow and build value.
